Jenny models for me while I test my new power inverter. I used an SB-900 at 1/2 power through an umbrella at camera right and a Chinese strobe in a soft box, that I got at a yard sale, powered by a car battery at camera left. I am not sure how convenient this set up is, but it's cheap and it works.

One SB-900 set to 1/4 power at camera right bounced off the ceiling and another SB-900 at camera left set to 1/16 power and shot through an umbrella.

A hand-held SB-28 at upper camera right at 1/8 power to light the subject for a dramatic lighting effect off the metal of the guitar head. Had to crop off some of the bottom because of the shutter. I am still trying to figure out that syncing trick.
